Nature Park of Arrábida
The rich plant habitat is one of the main highlights of the park. Here you will find one of the rare examples of mediterranean forest in Portugal and its preservation was one of the reasons that led to the fact that the Arrábida is considered a real international scientific relic. The encounter of the mountains with the sea created a beach line with white sand and transparent waters (Figueirinha, Galapos and Portinho da Arrábida) how it is otherwise only found in the Mediterranean Sea.

A fascinating location from where you can spot a landscape of intense green color, the mountains of S. Luís, Louro and Arrábida, and with the river Sado in the background to complete this idyllic picture.
